DRA "King of the Delta Series" 2008

This is a rough schedule as each date is being finalized with local agencies and property owners.

 

May 10th @ Orwood (Delta - Brentwood Area)

June 14th @ Villa Lagos (Red Bluff) - 2 Day Event

This event will have camping available on site. Everyone entering the site will need to fill out a waiver at the gate. Refusal to do so will result in you being denied entrance to the event.
There will be a mexican dinner provided on Saturday night with entertainment following.
The main event will be on Saturday with the Expert and Open (Outlaw) classes qualifying on Saturday for the finals on Sunday.
Sunday morning will have a additional class event open to all for an additional $10 entry fee at the time of registration. This event will may vary in final details but will consist of a slider specific event. No wake tricks allowed.Final details will be explained and displayed Saturday at the event.

The following is the running order for the Saturday event.

9:30am Masters will leave the dock. Following the completion of the class Intermediate will follow with Advanced, Short Break, Masters Open, Expert, Open (Outlaw) and then Jr. Novice and Novice all following the completion of the classes.
Raffle will be heald during the short break between Advanced and Masters Open.
Awards will be given at the conclusion of the event on Saturday excluding the Expert and Open (Outlaw) classes.

Sunday will start off early at 8:30 in the morning with the slider specific class and then at 11 am we will conclude the finals of Expert and the Open (Outlaw) classes. Awards will follow imedately after.

August 16th @ Bell Aqua (Rio Linda/Sacramento) - 2 Day Event

(Includes 3 Pro style sliders/kickers)

From HWY 80 heading North towards Sacramento you would exit Raley Blvd and head Back over the freeway. Continue until you come to E St. and make a Left. Follow it till the end of the street and just prior to entering into the airport (very small airport) you will see the entrance to entrance to the lake. When you pass the Vallero Station (was a Valero last year) on your right you are about 500' away from the gates.

September 20th-21st @ Orwood (Delta - Brentwood Area)

DRA’s “King of the Delta” tour Final Stop

 This event is another 2 day event. DRA will have all divisions compete on Saturday starting with Jr. Novice and continuing through to Masters Open. Then Open (Outlaw) will compete followed up by Advanced and Expert. These 3 classes (Advanced, Expert, Open (Outlaw)) will be competing to qualify for the finals on Sunday. DRA will take a maximum of 8 riders from each of the 3 divisions to compete on Sunday. Sunday’s competition will consist of Semi-Final heats (two total) then the final to determine the top 4 ranked riders for the event. This format is subject to change depending on the amount of riders in each division. If the division has 10 or less riders then there will only be 6 riders advancing to Sunday and there will only be one final run on Sunday.

For this event Sunday will consist of Jr. Novice thru Intermediate division’s top 3 finishers able to have an encore ride. Then we will start the finals for the Advanced through Open (Outlaw) divisions.

Upon completion of the divisions final scores will be announced and awards for the Advanced through Open (Outlaw) divisions. Immediately following Awards for the top overall point winners will be given and the King of the Delta will be awarded.

 Saturday following the event there will be a VIP party sponsored by Hyperlite and Red Bull for the Riders and their families, Sponsors, and DRA’s most valued supporters. Their will be DJ, Food, Drink, and a slider/video kicking off as the night progresses.

 Camping is available and you must Contact Orwood Resort for information and rates. At all times we ask you respect the Delta and Orwood Resort. Please pick up after yourself and no glass is allowed.
